Recipe : Baked Potato

Baked Potato

Ingredients:

Russet potato
Cheddar cheese
Sour cream
Bacon bits
Green onion, minced
Salt, pepper, and oil

Procedure: Preheat oven to 375 F. Wash and dry potato. Rub oil all over potato and season with salt and pepper. Poke holes all over with a fork. Bake in the centre of the oven for 1 hour. Remove and slice in the middle. Lay a cheddar slice in the centre, then add sour cream, bacon bits and green onion. Done!

Recipe: Drop Scones

Drop Scones

Ingredients:
2 c flour
3 tbsp margarine
4 tbs4 sugar
2 tsp baking powder
2 egg whites
1 egg yolk
1/2 c table cream
1 tsp vanilla
*berries optional

Procedure: Preheat oven to 375 F. Combine flour and baking powder. Using a food processor, pulse flour and 2 tbsp of the margarine until well blended. Add remaining 1 tbsp of margarine and pulse 3 times. Beat egg whites until stiff. Add egg yolk, sugar, cream and vanilla to flour mixture and pulse until combined. Add egg whites and pulse until just combined. Drop evenly spaced heaping tablespoons of the mixture to a baking sheet. Bake until top is slightly light brown. Done!
